Global Communication was founded in 1986 in Cairo, Egypt by Eng. Ahmed Kamal as a Sole Proprietorship. Originally, we were specialized in importing, distribution, & installation of Telecommunications equipment. Over a period of 30 years between 1992 & 2022, our company has been the only supplier & distributor for all Plantronics (later Poly) communication headsets in Egypt pioneering & growing this business in partnership with our vendor. 

With nearly 40 years market experience we pride ourselves on our excellent reputation in the Egyptian market, which is a direct result of our continuous efforts to meet the highest levels of service to our customers and business partners while always aiming to reach a Win - Win long term successful business relationship. In 2010, as part of our ongoing effort to provide superior service & ensure future business continuity our company was converted to a private owned Joint Stock company (S.A.E.).  In 2019, following the acquisition of Polycom by Plantronics & rebranding as Poly, we have decided to enter the audio video conferencing & collaboration market & became an authorized supplier and partner for the multiple audio video conferencing & communication brands in Egypt. 

Since our establishment we have pursued a strategy of striving for excellence & reaching a win-win scenario with our customer0s, partners, & vendors. During the past decade, we have pursued a strategy of expanding our supply chain for each existing product category as well as expanding into related audio video, software, & service markets to better serve our customer requirements such as: video displays (commercial displays, video wall, digital signage, interactive displays), software solutions (Business software, Partner Relationship Management, Customer Engagement, Omni-channel contact centre CCaaS, Chatbot AI, Conversational analytics, Speech Analytics, Compliance & Quality Control Recording, Multi-Language Transcribing), & business services (business software implementation, business consulting, AV consulting & services, IT consulting & services)
